Chapter 4: Recount Text Grade 8
Course Description:
English Course Grade 8 (Recount Text) is a course to introduce students to Recount Text. The course will individual practice, group study, and classroom practice tests. Individual study and group study allow students to work independently and collaboratively. The aim is for the students to create their Recount Text.
Competence Standards:
On completing this course, the students are able to:
1. Students are able to analyze social functions, text structures, and linguistic elements from text 'recount'
2. Students are able to deduce the meaning of social functions, text structures, and elements of the language of the text 'recount'
3. Students are able to evaluate social functions, text structures, and linguistic elements from text 'recount'
4. Students are able to design or create writing 'recount' text.
5. Students are able to present orally the text 'recount' through video.
